A special procedure will then be followed: our personnel will take care of the passenger until boarding, and after that the airline company will be in charge.
The parent or tutor must be at the airport until the aircraft takes off. In order to benefit from the same services, a youth between 12 and 14 years must require it at the reservation.
Children between 4 months and 4 years of age may also travel alone, however in such cases there is the need of a dedicated stewardess to take care of the child, with an extra charge.

Airline companies have special child meals, according to different ages, to be agreed upon before reservation.
In particular cases such as difficult pregnancies, twins or close to delivery pregnancies, a proper certificate must be submitted before check-in.
In case of on-board deliveries, the head steward is in charge of operations, he or she will also locate the next available doctor.
In case no doctor is on board, the steward must inform the crew captain who may decide to operate an emergency landing at the nearest airport. In case no airport is in the vicinity, stewards are trained to perform first aid assistance on passengers, including births.
Once the aircraft has landed, the crew captain as the Civil Officer in charge on board, must register the birth as in a regular Birth Registry, then the local Italian Consulate will transmit the Birth Registration to the parents’ actual residence city administration.
The newborn will thus become a regular Italian citizen.
