If you are departing for a non EU Country, you must declare you are leaving Italy with cameras, video cameras and other devices you may purchase abroad, so that they will not be subject to import taxes once you come back.
Keep all receipts of purchases made in non EU Countries, so you can benefit from an import tax waiver for purchases of less than 150,00 Euro.
TAX FREE arrangements are applicable only to non EU citizens, who may be reimbursed for purchases in authorized shops for more than 150,00 Euro, provided they furnish all receipts when leaving the EU.
